Terms of Service

Effective date: January 1, 2026

Welcome to CodeUtils.Cloud. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of our website, tools, and related content. By accessing or using CodeUtils.Cloud, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you should discontinue use of the service. These Terms are intended to provide clear expectations for responsible use and to protect the platform, its users, and the broader developer community.

Acceptance of Terms

By visiting or using CodeUtils.Cloud, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you use the service on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that entity. You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using the platform.

Your continued use of CodeUtils.Cloud after changes to these Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We recommend checking this page periodically to stay informed about updates. If you disagree with revised Terms, your sole remedy is to stop using the platform.

Use of Tools

CodeUtils.Cloud provides developer-focused utilities such as JSON formatter functionality and may include additional tools over time. You agree to use all tools lawfully, responsibly, and in a manner that does not harm the platform, other users, or third parties. Prohibited activity includes attempts to disrupt infrastructure, reverse engineer protected components, bypass access controls, or use the service for abusive, fraudulent, or unlawful behavior.

You are responsible for the content and data you input into tools. Unless explicitly stated, CodeUtils.Cloud does not guarantee retention, backup, or recovery of user-submitted content. You should avoid submitting confidential or regulated data unless you have confirmed that the specific tool and usage pattern satisfy your legal and security obligations.

We reserve the right to limit, suspend, or terminate access to protect service stability, security, or legal compliance. We may also throttle or block requests that appear automated, abusive, or harmful to system performance.

Disclaimer of Warranties

CodeUtils.Cloud and all tools are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for every use case.

Developer tools may produce outputs based on user input and browser behavior. You are solely responsible for reviewing, validating, and testing outputs before relying on them in production systems, legal contexts, financial operations, or safety-critical environments.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CodeUtils.Cloud and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data loss, business interruption, or reputational harm arising from or related to your use of the service. This limitation applies whether the claim is based on contract, tort, strict liability, or any other theory.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability for all claims relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to use CodeUtils.Cloud in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, if any. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Intellectual Property

All content, branding, software logic, design elements, and associated materials on CodeUtils.Cloud are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, distribute, modify, publicly display, create derivative works, or commercially exploit site materials without prior written permission.

You retain ownership of content you submit through tools. By using the service, you grant us a limited right to process submitted content as needed to operate and secure the platform. This limited right does not transfer ownership of your content to CodeUtils.Cloud.

Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms to reflect service changes, legal obligations, or operational updates. The latest version will always be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through prominent notices on the website when appropriate.

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later. Questions about these Terms can be directed to legal@codeutils.cloud.
